I have the application already. Let me know if you want me to email it to you.
**********************************************************************************

Greetings from Fairytale Town,

Let your imagination run wild at Fairytale Town, a 2.5-acre children's play park and outdoor children’s museum that brings fairytales and nursery rhymes to life! Located in William Land Park in Sacramento, Fairytale Town has delighted millions of guests, inspiring imagination, creativity and literacy since it opened in 1959. We are currently planning our final event of the season, Winter Wonderland, scheduled for two nights, December 3 and 4 from 5PM-8PM. This is a family focused event and will feature hands on activities, gift wrapping, holiday vendors, hot chocolate, Father Christmas and plenty of other exciting holiday surprises. The biggest of which is a dazzling display of holiday lights throughout the park.

We are now accepting participation applications from Sacramento area organizations that are interested in having a booth at the event. The booth will be a ten foot x ten foot area with one six foot table and two chairs provided by Fairytale Town. Vendors are asked to contribute 20% of their gross sales to Fairytale Town. We ask that participating organizations help us spread the cheer of the holiday season and encourage all participants and guests to wear holiday inspired attire that will keep you warm during the evening.

All participating organizations will be able to discuss their organization and sell their products directly to our
guests. Any materials brought into the event must be taken at the end of the event and all vendor fees must be
paid to Fairytale Town at the end of the event. For further information or questions please contact me directly.

Virtual Craft Faire for Charity

So, my best friend Kristin is participating in a fundraiser for the fight against Leukemia and other blood cancers. Kristin is going to ride her bike 100 miles, around Lake Tahoe.

One way she is trying to do that is through a virtual craft faire. While Kristin is obviously a bicyclist, she also very crafty. Not only that, she has crafty friends who have donated their crafts to her cause. You can help out by perhaps purchasing some of the goods available or even donating one of your handmade goodies to help her out. Here is her Virtual Craft Faire:

To find out more about the cause Kristin is riding for or to make a donation please visit her fundraising site:

Hope For Haiti -Benefit Concert and Handmade Market

Date:
Friday, February 5, 2010
Time:
7:00pm - 10:00pm
Location:
Arcade Church - Cryder Gym
<

From Claire of Glitter and Grunge:

Friends,

The earthquake in Haiti has hit close to home for several of our friends who are in the process of adopting children in Haiti or thinking about beginning the process. There are thousands of children homeless and hundreds who have families in the United States who have been waiting to bring home their children - some for years. Haiti before the eartquake had over 300,000 orphans and not enough orphanages to care for them.

In an effort to help we are organizing a benefit concert and handmade sale in Sacramento. We are working with an organization called Help End Local Poverty (www.helpendlocalpoverty.com) which works closely with two Rescue Center/Orphanages in Port au Prince, as well as orphanages in Africa. Our fundraiser will specifically benefit the Haitian orphanages.

The event is February 5 at 7 pm and will feature a number of local indie musicians and crafters. We are not charging for booth spaces, just asking that at least 10% of your sales that evening go to HELP. The event takes place at Arcade Church in Sacramento, 3927 Marconi Ave. Each space will include a 6 ft table and two chairs.

If you are interested in helping or having a booth please let me know asap, as space is very limited.
