What I am envisoning is something more causal that isn't restricted to etsy folks. I figure the more of us who know each other, the more information about random craft stuff can be shared. I figured a monthly meetup would help faciliate that.Hopefully making this process more interative will make the next meet up a success!

Hello, my name is Kendra Lamboy. I am the Director of Women's Ministry for our church. We will be hosting a Christmas boutique to support women in business. We need vendors who would like to sell their products. There is a 25.00 booth fee. We will provide a space, table and advertisement for the event. We will be passing out over 2000 postcards. The event will run for 2 days on November 21 and November 22. We will do Saturday from 9-4 and Sunday right before 9-10 church and immediately following the service until 12:00-3:00. We thought that having it Sunday would provide vendors to sell church members (especially husbands) who might not be able to make it Saturday. We have space for 5 more vendors.

If you are interested please contact me ASAP at

Dear Crafter,
River’s Edge, an elegant and upscale senior retirement community, is hosting its 5th Annual Holiday Craft Fair & Boutique on Saturday, November 14, 2009. We want you there!
The craft fair will be held indoors in and around the lobby of our community. Holiday music will be playing, hot cider will be flowing, and shoppers won’t be able to resist themselves as they see your wonderful creations!
The craft fair will be open to the 200 residents of our two senior living communities and their families. Additionally, fliers will be mailed to our marketing database. We will be mentioned in the Ticket section of the Sacramento Bee, Senior Magazine, Senior Spectrum, and various other publications. We will also have large directional signs from Howe Avenue.
This year we are including an “Upscale Clothing Swap”, if you are interested in this please include that on your registration form. Please see enclosed flyer for more information on the swap. Other additions this year include: Informational booths, 10 minute massage demonstrations, a raffle and several short seminars throughout the day. If you wish to donate an item to the raffle please note that on your registration form.
We will provide a six foot long table, folding chairs, and beverages all day. Due to space constraints, we ask that you not bring any additional display tables or racks, unless prior permission is given. Crafter registration is $20. Box lunches are available for an extra $5 per person.
Set-up will begin at 8:45am or 9:15am, depending on the location of your booth. The craft fair will run from 10am to 3pm. Take down will begin no earlier than 3pm.
Space is limited, so please mail your registration today. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us. We look forward to having a successful craft fair with you!

November Meetup

As you know, the meetup on sunday wasn't a meet up. On the brightside I was able to learn a few things.

1) Peets on 37th and J, no so big. So the next meet up will be at the Peet's on J and 20th.
2) Invite through Evite. Now I can remind anyone who is interested.
3) The invite has an option to pick which day is best.

Please send me your email address if you haven't recieved an invite!

Next time...

Next meet up...I'll do through Evite. If you haven't already, send me your email so you get an invite AND a reminder. hopefully the next meet-up will be a success!

Meet-up! Today

See you there!

Peet's on j and 37th @ noon.
